ive picked up slanted and enchanted the past few times ive been at the music store, but i havent had enough money for it, but i need to get into them

They do a great cover of that song, in fact that was one of the first pavement songs I ever heard. Anyways, Wowee Zowee is pavements best, followed by crooked rain and then brithen the corners.

I'm going to have to agree with him, honestly. I adore Slanted and Enchanted, as it allowed me the first Pavement experience I ever had (and they're one of my favorite bands to this day), but I just really love the songs on CR, CR. It works better as an album to me. Slanted and Enchanted gets a fair share of spins, but Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain is the album I go to the most. By anyone. Ever. Now, whoever said Wowee Zowee is the best is fucking crazy. ;)
