Anyone know why certain torrent sites have banned BitLord and Bit Comet? Fucking annoying. uTorrent crashes my machine, Azureus is a memory hog, a lot of places also ban the original BitTorrent.
I want a compact torrent program that won't crash my machine. I love uTorrent, and I'm kind of digging BitLord, but certain PIGS don't seem to like it. Assholes.

That's odd that utorrent crashes on you. Maybe there is something in the settings that might cause it to dump on you. I use utorrent and have no problems with it as of yet.

Yeah, it sucks. I love the program, except for that. I'm pretty savvy with the few settings that program has, so I don't think it's anything I can adjust. It's something in my machine itself. It's a device driver error, I just have no idea which or how to solve it.
Anyway, anyone know why the prejudice against BitLord? Seems another pretty simple and sweet program.

Bitlord is banned because it's a derivative of Bitcomet which is itself banned on all private trackers because of the DHT feature that allows people not signed up to the tracker to download the torrent.
I have no idea how that works though, so don't ask

Oh, so it's because it has superior capabilities? Got it.
Thanks.

Do you have the specific error, or can ya reproduce it and let me check it out with either typing it up here or getting a screenshot to me. I may have a solution

Well, I don't have it written down, but OiNK's tracker sent a message that explicitly said "BitLord and BitComet are banned on this tracker". Pretty simple, I don't think there's any way around it.
