i use DBpowerAmp for ALL my conversions, its really good. it works with ALL types of audifiles, mp3, mp4 shn, flac, ape, realaudio etc etc it converts everything to everything basically.

actually i was kidding

you can make mp3s of flac, it isnt a transcode

i just dont know if there's a special way to do it

Seriously, that is what I do. Actually, I usually decode my flacs, create an image file with Nero, mount it on an Alcohol virtual drive, and then rip the "CD" with my LAME-based ripper that came with my mp3 player.
