I like to think I'm one of those guys who has a copy of EVERY released studio song PJ has don in one form or another, so how was I unaware of this excellent version until an hour ago? It sounds great so stripped down, after 4 listens I already prefer it to the vs. version.

It's on the Go single, so I'm not sure why you haven't heard of it :wink:

yes the acoustic version is far superior to the rest

I love this version too! I'm trying to remember the slight lyrical change that Ed does but it's too early in the morning... maybe after a coffee, or does someone else remeber what I'm talking about?

slight lyrical change is:

Vs. version the lyrics are: me, you wouldn't recall, for i'm not my former

Go Single lyrical change: of course you can't see me for i'm not my former

The "of course you cant see me" sounds a little awkward, but i do really like just the acoustic and the vocal.
