Just finished listening to this beauty again. What a great show! It never got the ape/man label but this is one of the best of the tour. Red Mozi, present tense and one of the best Corduroy's ever late in the main set. Breath,Tremor Christ and a kick-ass Whipping in the encore.

This is possibly my favourite boot ever released by the band. Tight playing by the band, Ed's voice is in good shape and the boots were mixed perfectly in 2000.
If they released some earlier shows that will most likely change, but until then, this pretty much rules head and shoulders above everything released later.
When was the last time the band opened the encore with:

I love the 2000 boots. I was a freshman in high school when I first heard a freshly released Verona boot and I was instantly hooked on Binaural era PJ and live music in general. The bass guitar and kick drum could have been a hint louder though. Jeff's bass is almost non-existant on the Euro boots.
I have not heard this one though, I will have to try to find it. Does anyone know if there is a place that these older bootlegs can be downloaded for free? Isn't it legal and fair to trade them now, or is that wrong? PearlJamLive.com is awesome, but I want to burn these to CD.

This was my first Pearl Jam show and it was amazing. Definitely kept me coming back. Oddly, they were touring in support of Binarual but only played 3 songs from it that night. It was a perfect "first show" setlist. Everything I needed to hear, I heard.

I was about to post a review of this show when I realized this was the year I dropped out of school and left the Philly area (regrettably). I went back and listeneed to the boot instead and found myself jealous that I attended the NY area shows (Jones Beach, Saratoga) instead of this show. Congrats to Philly. God setlist and (as always) an excellent crowd.

Don't ever feel bad that you were at the Saratoga shows.

True. And I managed to drag some of my Philly friends up to that one with me so I had some of the Philly crowd with me
