channel surfing, I see that Direct TV has cancelled my favorite channel-Trio ("Pop Culture TV").A great place for classic concerts, cult movies and great comedies.

here are the new channels Direct TV has added:
RDF (the Rural Country channel)
GOO (the Grand Ol Opry channel)
Daystar (another religious "family values" channel)
BYU (yet another religious "family values" channel)
SPD (channel for Nascar fans)
World Harvest Channel (yet another religious "family values" channel)
TV One (channel for African American adults)

now,I'm a dude living in New York.I aint gonna watch these channels.

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!!

Who cares, 8 more channels I don't watch, bringing the grand total to about 150 channels I don't even slow down on.

there are very few channels I watch-News,History,VH1 Classics and TV Land. But I did like Trio. The last time I watched,a David Bowie concert was on followed by Letterman.

now its one less channel. And the new channels added are intereresting. All "red state" programming.I want a channel with Sex and the City reruns,Yankee talk and Ramones specials on all day but I aint getting that. But a channel of Flipper reruns all day-yes!

no, he means double dare. the original. the one with the green slime. that was some good stuff back in the day.

as far as channels go. mtv, mtv2 and vh1 all suck. when did rock music die? what happened to the music video? why is it all i see is a culture of neanderthals acting like morons? rap music? who listens to that?

channels i watch. network tv, only primetime. espn, and the deuce. sportslist with summer sanders (drool). sci-fi and cartoon network. even stevens is money too.

i live in VA, which is considered a red state although i'd say any north of richmond should be considered a blue state, but regardless I can't wait to move to the midwest and get out of this place. I know it is not nice to say rednecks but the south has some of the dumbest fucks ever

I have Dish Network, but I'm pretty close to tossing it out the door into the street,...... if it weren't for Cartoon Network "Adult Swim" on Sunday nights, I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago. Hundreds of "channels" and nothing but commercials and crap on.
