He doesnt get "band" credit in the albums. He's still not "in" the band. He just provides organ sounds.

No, simply because he adds to some songs in studio when asked rather than creatively contribute to each song. At least on Avocado.

I'm pretty much with you, although I think he is a step above those two guys who tour with REM all the time and help them on the records. Boom gets solos, an introduction, etc.

Booms probably the nicest guy in the world, he has some musical talent, and he has his moments.

now that I've sugar-coated it..... I hope his pearl jam days will end.

It was an intresting phase, but I'm just not digging Pearl jam with piano/organ as much, personally.
