Although details are scant at deadline, Pearl Jam has recorded a cover of the Who's "Love, Reign O'er Me" for the upcoming Adam Sandler/Don Cheadle film "Reign Over Me." A snippet of the recording can be heard in the trailer for the film, which opens March 9 in U.S. theaters. It is unknown if the song will appear on a soundtrack release.

Pearl Jam's most recent foray into soundtracks was "Man of the Hour," which ran over the end credits of the 2003 Tim Burton film "Big Fish."
