Can anybody tell me if this song Eddie sings during the "flighted mammal"-man sessions is an improv or an actual cover?

This is the best I can do. Don't know if it's the same one or not, but it's taken from the Green Habit compilation torrent.

Also, here's Porchball's version from the PJ Cover contest to go on with...

Hope it helps.

Would it be too much to ask if you'd be able to put the Crazy Mary from GH's Compilation up there too? I've been looking for it ever since my last computer crashed with the compilation on it.... Would really appreciate it..

Some more questions...

1. Have the flighted mammal sessions ever shown up in better sound quality than what's been floating around for several years now? I'm espicial interested in a certain alternate, early version of a certain studio outtake.

2. I'm only aware of 7 songs seeing the light of day. So, I suppose, "perfect girl" is track 8--are there others?

the full flighted mammal sessions are 12 tracks, including two answering machine messages from the head ostrich.

the 9 songs the secret flock laid down are:

american girl, roadhouse blues, hunger strike, creep, let's see action, that feel, the mysterious 'perfect girl', running out of time, and against the 70s.

I've got most of them, but........... Against the 70's......hmm

Dont know if I should get excited, though I'd much rather hear pearl jam play it again.

actually imo the best things here are hunger strike and that feel. hunger strike has this funny guitar jam in the middle thats not normally there and its just great hearing eddie cover that feel since no good recording ever surfaced of the '99 version with c average.
