im on a new computer and i want to dl a bit torrent client

i used to have abc..but now they say theres one where you can select whole cd torrents or you can pick and choose which tracks you want and only download them

whats the best one to get??

utorrent (microtorrent) is the most popular. Everybody loves it but me. It crashes my machine, but I don't know of anyone else this happens to. Definitely the way to go.

Azureus can select certain files also, but it's java based and is a resource hog. uTorrent is the way to go.

i have azureus and i like it a lot, but all the kids these days seem to be going with utorrent. if you have a new computer i wouldn't stress too much about the extra resources that azureus would use, but either one will probably work. both will do what you are asking.

I used azureus for a long time, and I like it, but it is a resource hog. I don't think I've used it on my new machine, so I can't say how badly it would affect performance.
