Howard Zinn will be on the Daily Show w/ J. stewart tonight. If you haven't read this guy's book, "People's History of the United States" You should.
The song 'Down' is dedicated to this guy, I think.

I don't know...I think the guy is ok, but i agree, he's not THAT convincing. I always sense a type of him hiding something in his essays and books. That's just me.

I'm with Buggy I think is very convincing and in regards of hiding something I think he just shows a different view on history and this view goes against everything that was burned into our brains throughout school

I agree. Reading A People's History of the United States 1492-Present really opened me up to a new perspective on history that I had never known from school.

Damn I was hoping to see this, hopefully i can catch the rerun or download it somewhere. I got to meet Howard at the Boston airport the day after the first PJ show. He was so nice and humble.
