we pay almost $150 per month (including cable internet)
it's fucking insane.
everything is set up so that when you drop a couple of "special features" (HBO etc) you only pay like $10 less.
I love sundance and IFC, but i'm affraid i'm gonna have to drop them because it's just not worth it. i pay like $30 for the package where these channels are in (50 or so in this package) though i only watch these 2, now and then....
same with Soccer Channel, it's part of a 80 channel package, but i only watch that channel....
who else is getting fucked over?

155 a month and I watch about 20 different channels but 5 of them 90% of the time.

$0 here
We had cable and it was about $60/month but we cancelled it when we discovered that there was already a live line coming into our apartment. Someone in this building is paying for cable that we are watching, but i don't know who .
The funny thing is that it is an actual wall jack, not just a splice coming in from another apt so it looks legit.

My phone/cell/internet bill is $120 though
You're phone/cell/internet is only $120? What service do you use? Do you have a land line and a cell line?
$140 per month for cable, cable internet and cable phone with unlimited long distance anywhere, anytime in North America. The phone also has caller id, voice mail and all that other jazz in there for that flat rate.
Seems like a decent deal. We get all the regular cable channels but none of the special ones like HBO or any of that stuff.

$129 for cable/phone/internet. That's totally basic cable, no HBO or premium channels, and I even don't get a tier or two of regular "non-basic" channels. HBO is a rip-off, even for $12 a month. Mininova, folks, for my Entourage fix.
The price isn't bad here, but neither is the service so good.

Jesus, I'm getting ripped off.
Land line with a basic long distance package. No frills except messaging. My cell phone package is also the cheapest one they offer...80 daytime minutes, unlimited evenings and weekends. Having all 3 of them together saves me quite a bit.

Mine was $0. but it switched from Adelphia to Time Warner or whatever, and they climbed the telephone poll and cut me off. Otherwise, basic cable owuld be I think $48/mo.
My cell bill alone is $104/mo. But I don't have a house phone, and my gas & electric bills have been about $13 each. Can't complain!
i signed up for "budget billing" for my electrical service. basically it keeps the rate somewhere between 100-110 at all times. if your bill was say 120 last month, that 20 bucks goes to the budget billing account. And then when next months bill is actually 80, i still pay 100 and the difference pays off the budget billing account.
