is this book any good? i know its only pictures, but is it worth $20? I'm hoping theres a few really good pics in it to make some mini posters or something for my room.

and how big is it? i dont want to spend the $$ for a 5inch square book

I would buy it from 10cl if you want the hardcover. On Amazon it's $65! On 10cl it's only $30.

the book is 8 1/2 inches by 9 inches
has about 100 pictures in it, some span 2 pages, some a portion of a page
pictures are from 1991 through 1998
pics from behind the scenes, live pics, early pics
the back of the book tells you where and when the pics were taken

it's pretty good if you like pics, but there really is no writing in it except for the credits. I got the softcover edition from Best Buy for free when I bought the Binaural album so I kinda lucked out.

I like it a lot. The softcover version is really nice, though. The cover is not like a typical paperback book cover that will get all worn and bent and dog-eared. The cover on Place/Date is really sturdy and substantial for a softcover.

If you don't want to spend a lot, pick up a used copy:

I like it. I found it at a Barnes & Noble clearance for about $5 and I picked it up. Though, even if I didn't get it for the cheap price, I would have bought it at original price.

It is definitely not what you think. The pages aren't just pic after pic of full page size. It is very artfully done.

I've got the hardcover and softcover... it's good but mostly just sits on the bookshelf. I think there are 2-3 pictures that are different between the hard/softcover editions.

mine is still in the box 10C shipped it in.. i have looked though it many times, but since i have no real bookshelf, i have no place to keep it.. so in the box it remains..

very nice book, and i highly recommend buying it from 10C for the hardcover version unless your wallet disagrees with that idea.. in which case having a softcover is just as good..

(my preference runs to hardcovers)
