though this is not really a criticism more a comment, I dont think warhol really made pictures to intentionally force a point of view just to show how people started to think of images such as maralyn monroe [the pictures were displayd right around the time she died] (or in this case war victims.) as trivial, hence exposing their desensitized attitude towards the subject. though I do suppose you could say thats what this does, very well in fact.
