yeah this ends badly if iran finds that its right to atomic energy provided by the NPT is being infringed and decides to withdraw from the treaty and then pursue nuclear weapons because of the threat of attack or invasion
It is pretty obvious that Iran would agree to almost anything if their rights under the NPT are not infringed and the US and its allies provide a security agreement

iran is very liberal compared to others in the mid east
after several elections that increasingly strengthened the reformist movement in iran the administration included iran in the axis of evil , invaded nations on either side of iran and the iranian people reacted then same way we did when threatened. They elected a religious conservative midget idiot because he was nationalistic and would protect the nation from "foreign influence"
great... the iranian versions of bush...ahmadinejad
god help us

So Iran would resort to manufacturing nuclear weapons because "of the threat of attack or invasion?" You do realize that Iran has had a secret nuclear program well before President Bush included them in his "Axis of Evil," don't you? Do you know that we've offered to help Iran build nuclear reactors for peaceful purposes and the only caveat was that the enrichment would occur on Russian soil? They turned that down. Why would they, if Ahmadinejad's propaganda had any truth to it?

Comparing Ahmadinejad to President Bush is beyond stupid. Seriously, if you think that President Bush is at the same level as Mr. Holocaust Convention, then you need a serious reality check.

The nuclear program??
under npt they have the right to atomic energy including the fuel cycle which would require enrichment. it is their right
and don't respond to my post like i am a child
"did you know that their crazy supreme leader issued a fatwa against nuclear weapons" ... how do you like it?
A convention that questions the historical accuracy of the greatest crime in history?? Someone please prove 6.6 . there are only 14.1 on the planet today. but whether it was 6 or 1 ..it was still a crime

Perhaps you didn't read what I wrote. To quote myself -
"Do you know that we've offered to help Iran build nuclear reactors for peaceful purposes and the only caveat was that the enrichment would occur on Russian soil?"
I never said that Iran wasn't allowed nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. Nevertheless, the Iranian government can pass a million fatwas against nuclear weapons...it is nieve to think that their end game isn't acquiring nuclear weapons. Did you know that traces of plutonium and highly enriched uranium was found at one of their sites? Does that sound like a nuclear program for "peaceful intentions?"
As for Islam's view of Jesus...this is irrelevant to the debate. I have no idea what your point is, but it has nothing to do with keeping Iran from acquiring a nuclear bomb.
Think of it this way - when we have Russia and China on board to enforce UN sanctions (as weak as they are), there is a concensus that Iran having nuclear weapons is not a good idea for anyone.
