i cant seem to eject the damn thing. i click on the eject button and the do not disconnect button wont go away. says something about ipod not being able to be ejected cause it contains files being used by another program?



p.s. this is my very first ipod so be prepared for stupidity.

Are you sharing your iPod on a network? Seems like something is connected to it and/or it's busy doing something and/or it's mocking you.

i dont think i would know how to share my ipod on the network. lol.

its amaziing how a machine with a 5 page instruction booklet can make me fell so dumb...

im pretty sure im in hard drive mode. but i dont know how that happened or if it should be like that.

but id like to give the above a whirl. i know how to reset. but i dont know how to put it in disc mode.

well i dont know what the fuck i did. but it no longer showed the "do not disconnect" sign and my ipod was no longer showing on itunes.

so i unplugged it.

but i never did see this pic...





edit/update. im all good now i think. that other application i think was msn messengers "what are you listening too" option.

and that pic above is a gen 4 thing. and i have gen 5. or so ive been told.
