The entire video would be footage of the band performing in varsity sweaters edited into old Happy Days episodes.

I'd have it as Eddie being the ex and Stone being his erstwhile lover.

Lone guy, ~30, walking through NYC. Intermixed with flashbacks of the relationship. Each successive flashback is desaturated, making the colors more and more washed out until they are finally like barely visible grainy pictures. The guy ends up walking towards the edge of thr brooklyn bridge, but stops just short of jumping, leans out over the water, pulls himself back and turns to go home. Instead he throws a ring or something into the water.

stone and eddie black & white singing the song in real time.
then cut to the band rocking out, possibly doing high leg kicks, in slow motion.
cut to mike in real time doing the solo while at the same time blending it with the slo-mo rocking in the background.

i wouldn't.

I'm not sure, but I think I'd have Mike play the guitar on a piano in the middle of the desert. Just.. you know, something new and original.

I do a concept that involved taking molds of the band's head's, and have snakes coming out of their skulls and ants crawling over their bones and have something like Ed's head burning and dripping fire from the melting skin and shit like that.

If that didn't work.......then I'd just use concert footage of Ed spitting and put it in slow motion while cutting back to the other members of the band smiling at Ed.

And have Mike play the solo out in the middle of nowhere on railroad tracks.

have them perfrom in the dark or just have it black with the music in the b/c

i would have ed singing in the rain digging a hole, like eminem in that one song

thank god they never did a video for this.

have eddie swim with dolphins a la axl rose and have mike's solo be while standing on water.
