My wife has been under the weather and decided she didnt want to go out drinking tonight, so she switched her work shift last minute to help a coworker, and she comes home in an hour and I just decided to drink the evening away.

i'd almost rather be doing that... this party is gonna be small, and my wife is breastfeeding still, so i have a sobercap - woohoo!

I've been sick to my stomach all day, but I think I'll risk a glass of Brut when the ball comes down. I figure I was gonna be barfing tonight anyway.

There is something oddly reassuring about being drunk at home.. No worry about rides, or anything like that. I get to pick the music, the tv, and my activity. Which is currently posting at RM, trying to be social with some new folks, drinking Molson from my kegerator and listening to some of the vinyl i got for christmas.

i feel better for knowing the story behind the avatar.

now if i could just figure out what's the deal with maniacal clown's avatar, we'd be all set.
