Benaroya Hall is owning me right now and I would love to see PJ in a setting like this. The Foo Fighters had a successful acoustic mini tour so why not PJ?

Yes, I would definitely like to see them do a small tour like this. When they are not supporting an album they could do a small tour like in 2005 playing Benaroya Hall type shows. That would be very good indeed.

Foo's acoustic tour show in toronto was the 2nd best show of my life behind PJ in Buffalo 5/2/03. I am fully in support of this idea considering the greatness of benaroya

I would love to see it - but i want them to adapt some of their harder, more rocking tunes rather than just play all their songs that are already (semi) / acoustic.

They need to play more of their softer songs. This year has been kinda poor from that point of view. That's all I want. An all-acoustic tour is not really what I want.

I don't want a tour but definitely atleast one all acoustic show that appreciates the softer songs.

No.
This was my initial response because
well PJ doesn't seem to be very intimate when playing acoustically. Also, I believe they've never played 100% acoustic (maybe one of the earlier BSB shows). The intimacy is why I would want them to play acoustically in the first place. Nirvana set a very high bar with their Unplugged performance, and I don't believe PJ will ever come close to that.
However, the idea does seem fresh and fun for a change. The experience will be totally different when watching from a seated position. A lot of songs have the potential to be something better after reworking them.

I would prefer something like the Mansfield Show from a few years ago. The band should do about 12 or 13 acoustic numbers and then rock out for the rest of the show.
I think an acoustic show sounds like a great idea, then you get to the smaller venue and eventually you really want them to turn it up. Atleast that was my feeling in Atlantic City.

I'm flip-flopping on this in my head; I would not support this if it were held in large arenas. The acoustic sets at the Fleetcenter in 2004 really suffered because of how large the place was. Smaller venues would work, but I doubt they'd really do a Ten Club only tour, so a lot of people would be shut out.

i initially thought yes, but then hesitated... but if they could combine like a 90 min acoustic set and a 90 min electric set, no opening band, that would be pretty cool.
