Ok it's not the offseason yet for the lucky 12, but for the sad 20.... let's have a little fun.
You're the GM of your team, cap hits notwithstanding who are you looking at drafting?
What needs does your team need to fill?
Who get's cut and who can you reasonably go after in free agency to turn it around?
For my team they have to find a coach first, but if I could cut him I'd cut Ed Hartwell yesterday. Then resign Patrick Kerney hopefully to a reasonable deal if it can be done and resign Demorrio Williams, then entertain offers on Keith Brooking.
In the draft and free agency I'm looking for a huge pass blocking offensive Left Guard, I'm looking to take either Laron Landry or Reggie Nelson if possible or if a corner can be found move Jimmy Williams to safety and cut Chris Crocker. Between Rounds 1-3 I need to find another MLB so I'm looking at Patrick Willis from Ole Miss and several others, should probably look in free agency too but it's time for Jordan Beck to get more PT in the middle backing up whoever it is.
I can't remember the guys name from Wisconsin that plays guard I believe, but if he's there at 10 (probably not) I'm taking him.
Big Blue is ok at DE...and that's it. They need help at every other defensive position.

vikes need somebody who can FUCKING CATCH THE BALL!!!
didnt the vikes get billy mcmullin from the birds? hows he been working out?
jeff garcia will be on the vikings next year
they did get him - he did OK, had 1 game where he got 2 TDs, other than that, fairly invisible.
that'd be good if they got garcia, but they've stated several times they are prepared to go into next season with Jackson and *shudder* Bollinger and they don't want to spend $$'s on a FA QB

if and when the pats season is over, and depending on where the seahawks pick falls, i'd love for the pats to get landry (he'd have to fall to the 20s), but after him, maybe draft ginn jr. or one of the either the LB or DE out of michigan (i wanna say there's two stud guys that will be OLB in the NFL).
for free agents re-sign asante samuel and try to get lance briggs or dwight freeney.
Obviously, if somebody falls and is of good value i can't fault the pats for taking them. And as of right now team needs will change depending on cuts and free agent signings by other teams (i'm thinking of brees signing with the saints last year and changing projected picks).

If Laron Landry is available and the Niners pass on him I'll be shocked and a little pissed.
yeah I know but stranger things have happened. Atlanta must draft either a safety or guard high and hope they make a difference. They can't afford to get the pathetic play out at corner, safety, left guard, MLB and WR that they have the last two seasons.
Part of the problem was paying Jason Webster a ton of money..that's on Jim Mora. Then they take this bum Chris Crocker from Cleveland, who has been almost as effective as Brian Scott (terrible).
Add that to Ed Hartwell who might be the worst starting MLB in the league due to injury and generally sucking and it explains why a team with quite a bit of talent failed miserably.
That and they've done nothing at WR, but that won't change much other than getting Finneran back because they already wasted two #1's.
If Calvin Johnson stays in school maybe they can try next year.

Joe Thomas I do believe you are referring to. He's a tackle though, a damn good one at that.
