i used to have a song on my computer (before it got fried) that i BELIEVE is from the showbox show (i never bought the dvd, so i have no clue) but anyway the track was daughter tagged with war by edwin starr. but before ed begins singing war he say something along the lines of
"you don't...you don't have to agree. this is what...is democracy. you don't have to agree with me...this is the meaning of democracy. you...yeah...yeah...yeah...WAR! what is it good for? etc."

anyone know where those lyrics came from? they sound familiar but i've no clue, and google's turned up nothing.

Surely it's "improv'd"?

Unless you mean he altered them for the better... ;)

HAHA...damn, i didn't even realize i'd done that.

anyway, back to the original question, when he started singing the lyrics in question, the crowd cheers briefly as if they know the lyrics from somewhere else, which led me to believe they weren't part of an improv.

what exactly makes me a rookie? the fact that i never bothered with the showbox show because when the dvd came out i had no way of buying one since it was, and still is, only available online? at the time i had no credit cards/etc so it would have been impossible.

again i ask, what exactly makes me a rookie? i'll throw down all my knowledge on pj and see where you're at if you'd like.

he's a numbnut, for your own sake please don't bother starting a fight with him. And if you, show him some porn and link him to alternet. that'll distract him.
