Good-bye, Willis, you lazy piece of shit. I don't care if you run for 2800 yards and 44 touchdowns (which you won't, because your best "football move" is flopping to the ground when you get a hint of contact at the line). I want you gone.
Rough Week For Willis McGahee Wednesday, January 10, 2007 10:01 AM - Nick Mendola - WGR 550
(WGR 550)- A double dose of bad publicity for Bills running back Willis McGahee in The Miami Herald and Penthouse magazine, as a paternity suit and a candid interview regarding Bills fans and the team's future in Buffalo became public.
First, the Penthouse interview. When asked about the possibility of an NFL team in Toronto, McGahee said, "That would be a good situation. Toronto is a beautiful place. But if they're going to put a team there, they should just bring the Buffalo Bills to Toronto. Case closed."
McGahee also said he owes the Bills organization for taking a chance on him.
"I got a lotta love for Buffalo," he said. "I thank God for the whole situation. I'm trying to make them proud. I'm trying to do some things here."
When asked about the intensity of Bills fans, McGahee said, "A true Buffalo fan will tell a Bills player, 'You can't do this, you can't do that.' But once that player performs it's like, 'I told y'all he was the best player.'"
All this comes on the heels of a Miami Herald report that McGahee is facing his third paternity suit in two years. He's paying child support in two cases, and a third is pending. The three children were born between Jan. 2005 and Jan. 2006.
Keep it locked at WGR Sportsradio 550 for any and all details as they become available.

This guy amazes me and not in the good way. He's the stutter step master. Even when there's a nice hole to run though, he slows down, takes a few stutter steps...and then the hole closes and that's that. If he just ran straight ahead I think he'd get twice the yards.

So what'd he say that's incorrect?
I agree.

This happens in every city.

Stupid thing to say, but hasn't there been rumors that they might be moving?

So, what's the issue with what he said?
i think the main the thing is that the people in buffalo might have some beef with him saying they should move the team to toronto, even though it was taken out of context.

Add to that this paternity suit garbage and the perceived lack of effort every Sunday. And Drew Rosenhaus is his agent.

It's sad really, his back-ups at Miami are doing better than he is(Portis before the injuries, Gore).
?
I thought Portis was there before him?
I think they were around the same time, 03.
They overlapped, but Portis was the starter. and a JR, and McGahee was a RS freshman.
Gore was a freshman that year and the #2 back til he blew his knee out, so then in came McGahee. (Who, despite whatever he may be now, was out of this world in college.) Then McGahee left, and Gore became the starter by default.

He is right about Bills fans, ya know...
I think he might have been saying how there are so many canadian fans in Buffalo. there really hasnt been rumours of the team moving, only questions about the teams longevity in such a small market, despite having so many games sell out (except this season cuz the sabres took fans and money away from the Bills)
