I haven't seen this movie in years....only saw it once. It's on TBS right now, so I figured I'd watch it for nastalgic sake...anyway, its pretty damn funny what they think the future was going to be like in the 1980's...and Flea from RHCP makes a cameo...don't ever remember that. Its about 40 minutes into the movie right now, not as good as the original.

i love how they go back to the events of the first movie and you see stuff happen in the sequel that really did happen in the first but you didn't know it at the time. that is the main reason i love that trilogy so much because i can't think of any other movie that does that.

I just watched it on TBS as well. The continuity with the first film was definitely cool.

My favourite thing from the future was the dot matrix printers.

Flea is also at the end of III.

The DVD set is a must have for fans of the movies.

Many people say that the 2nd one is the best of the three, but I still think the first one is awesome.

You know its unoriginal when people say the first one is the best, in any trilogy. Thats not the reason why I like part 2 the best, but im just saying. Part 2 is is just creative, the cliff hanger is better than part ones.

I can't decide between the first two. The first one is just classic for me though, it was one of two or three movies my family had on tape and I'd watch it all the time. Two is a great sequel. Three isn't spectacular but its a decent ending to an excellent trilogy!

My main problem with part 2 is that it makes no sense.
Old Biff could not have gone back to 1955, give himself the book, and then go back to the same 2015 he left from. I usually don't mind plot holes, but that's a pretty damn big one, with the way time travel is established in the original.

Perhaps he went back to the future he came from because doc and marty realize it, go back and get it back from biff, and fix everything.

I dunno...I'm not much into the star trek type time theories

Time paradoxes are a scary thing. Better time travel once and stick to it; it's more believable. But you knwo what, it's a great trilogy regardless.

I always wanted to be Michael J. Fox when I was a kid.

God bless,

Jared

Great movie. I like 1 and 2, but 3 is a lot to be desired.

What's really scary is the original came out 20 years ago. I still remember going to the movies with my cousin to see it.

Another thing, BTF 2 takes place 10 years from now!

He didn't go back to the same 2015. Perhaps the ripple effect hadn't caught up to them yet. Perhaps that neighborhood looks the same, since Hilldale was already sort of a slum in the original 2015. The filmmakers made a conscious choice to have Doc and Jennifer out of the McFly house before Biff came back because who knows if the McFly's would live there in the alternate 2015.

My big problem with II is that Marty and Jennifer shouldn't even be in 2015, since they were lifted out of the normal timeline once they left 1985.

It bothered me that Crispin Glover didn't return as George McFly.

The first one was the best. 2 and 3 were OK.

But if things continued the way they were going, marty and jennifer would be brought back to 1985 in the delorean and thus would have lived to see 2015...

If (1985) marty and jennifer were to somehow get stuck in 2015, then it would make sense that they couldnt be there, but of course that would be in another tangent which 1985 marty and doc would not see in 2015 unless they went back in time and then forward again..

The old biff getting back to the same 2015 as doc and marty is odd and hard to explain..
