I just caught the end of what seemed like a pretty good mocking of Pj's attempts at covering The Who from today's Howard Stern Show on Sirius Radio. Anyone else hear this and have more detail.

They did play a portion of the new cover, which sounded great.

Well, that's simply not true.

Howard stern is the best thing on radio....today.....and probably forever.

I heard the whole thing. He likes pearl jam, but just doesn't like the cover songs they do of The Who.

Who cares, I'm sure a lot of people out there don't like them.
I love them.

i think he said he thinks pj's version of love rain sounds like karaoke.

oh and by the way, the show hasn't been better since the sirius move.

On the wednesday show, they came back from break with Even Flow, Howard mentioned something about how Even Flow is overplayed, then they started playing a live Baba O'reily version, of which Howard said sucked. No one else was really bagging on the song, only Howard. Robin said she liked the Guitar intro to the song. Arty, who is a big Who fan, said he didn't mind it.

On the positive side, Howard did also say that Pearl Jam had enough good original songs that they shouldn't be covering the Who. Also of note, Howard later in the show said he liked 2 Justin Timberlake songs. Case closed...
