Christ, I can't seriously be the only one watching this, can I? It's easily the best show on TV right now. Tonight's episode was tear-inducingly funny.

i saw this tonight for the first time... i thought it was alright. Looks like it might be one of those "too clever for its own good" type of shows. America's too dumb for this

30 Rock is good because it doesnt over use tracy morgan. His absolute insanity is hilarious, but if they over did it, it would get stale quickly... But he just comes on for a second, does something crazy, and is off again.
my favorite line?
"Biblical Dragons... From Outer Space." in describing the tattoos he had put on his face.

I was going to start a thread on this the other day - after the last episode I saw. This show is absolutely hilarious ... I wouldn't change a thing. Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan all have my sides sore in 30 minutes flat.

The commercials don't make me laugh, so I don't hold out much hope for the show.

Great show.... To me it's been the most consistently funny of the 4 comedies (and I love The Office and Scrubs). All of the characters are hilarious, but Alec Baldwin pwns this show.

i love this show too!
i really hope it doesn't get cancelled, and that lining up all the comedies on thursday helps it out.
tina fey is great, tracy morgan is great (and not overused as mentioned), and yes kenneth is a great character too. but baldwin makes this show i think. fucking brilliant...

Last night's episode had me laughing a lot. The show didn't impress me a lot with the first couple shows but i've come around now, there's a lot of solid stuff in this show. Lots of great throw-away stuff in the sub plots too that are pure gold.
The Gold Case at the end was awesome too.

I hope it doesn't go the "too funny for it's own good" route that Arrested Development went.
AD was never too funny for its own good.
The AD thread fully explains why it was cancelled--- People that would have loved the show, didnt listen to the pleas of its fans until it was too late.

This is absolutely true. I'm loving it on dvd though.
I promise to give this a try next week. I usually lose it during Scrubs though and tune out, though last night's episode was decent.
