Yeah, Home by the Sea is definitely one of the best from the Collins era.

I believe there were three (okay actually four) phases of Genesis in their infinite quest towards mediocriety.

Phase 1 - Peter Gabriel fronted the band
Genesis to Revelation to The Lamb Lies Down

Most people agree this was the best years of the band and definitely the most experimental. Gabriel would usually get up on stage in bizarre costumes.

Phase 2 - Collins fronted but the band was still fairly progressive
A Trick of the Tail thru Three Sides Live

Collins wasn't as wierd as Gabriel and could arguably sing better. Some of my favorite songs came out of this period. Duke was just awesome and the live album Three Sides Live was incredible...especially the extended In the Cage segment.

Phase 3 - Collins sells Genesis by the Pound
Genesis to We Can't Dance

Collins lets his pop influence destroy what was a great band. Still some good music came out of them in the early 80's like Mama, Home By the Sea, and Tonight, Tonight, Tonight.

Phase 4 - Some other guy fronts the band
Calling All Stations

I didn't even bother listening to this one.
