Coach Perm needs to chill out. he looked like he was going to kill that RB coach the other night.

I'm not understanding why you are refering to next week's game "the real afc championship"

the jets make me a little nervous. they had chances when pittsburgh beat them the first time. if the steelers don't choke i think it'll be a good, tough game. either way i'll be drunk as piss.

Yeah, no doubt, the game starting at 4:30, that means I'll start around noon.

PJD,

you just don't get it. you're pats have rolled in the past what...decade? I've been a steeler fan all my life. they choke. there, i said it. on paper they are the best team in the league, they have home field, they should win, but i prepare for the worst. its how i've been programmed by past losses.

not against the jets. In all honesty, the Steelers could win without big Ben. They have 2 solid running backs, great wide recievers a fantastic offensive line and an outstanding defense.

The Jets have a self righteous whiny baby as the QB, an AWFUL offensive coordinator a decent defense and at least one guy on defense that needs to have his head examined.

Can the Jets win....sure, but if you have all of you're faculties about you and you aren't a die hard Jets fan, you shouldn't believe it would actually happen. If they win, it's going to have to be the game of Chad Pennington's life, concurrent with a fantastic effort from Curtis Martin. Can it happen? Sure, Two big games in a row for the Jets... no way. Dont' bet on it.

The Steelers are playing with more confidence than in years past, and you have a really solid guy playing QB this season instead of Slash. You aren't dependent on one facet to work, which is why I give the colts more of a shot this season too.

The Jets beat Marty Schottenheimer in the playoffs......that's like beating San Francisco or Miami in the regular season this year. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

I'm at odds as to how that guy keeps finding employment as a head coach

I'm not a Jets fan (and I think the Steelers will win), but a couple things to consider:

-they played the Steelers tough for 3 quarters last time
-Chad is more healthy now then he was in the first meeting
-Ben has played great, but he's still a rookie QB starting his first playoff game.

All true but don't forget Plaxico and Duce both missed the first game.

I think I'm probably the only that thinks Paul Hackett gets way too much credit when the Jets don't play well. What makes you say Hackett is horrible?

Also I'm not sure if I'd call Chad self-righteous. He probably should have kept his mouth shut but a lot of the stuff being written about him was absolute crap.

you're right some of the things were unfair but that's life. When he told the media, they are "lucky" to be able to write about and interview him, I lost all respect whatsoever and lumped him in there with Jeff George.

Obviously he's a good QB he just needs to never ever address the media, until he learns to accept criticism and handle it. Eli didn't attack the media. Until Saturday, the Jets had failed repeatedly to win important games and much of the criticism was warrented, his arm is stronger than they and Hackett for that matter give him credit for, I will give him that.

As far as Hackett is concerned, does he know the Jets have Justin McCarins and Santana Moss? It dosen't always appear as such. The time management issue should be enough to get a coordinator in the NFL fired. Justin McCarins was absolutely wasted this season.
