Guy is ridiculous. Best 3-point range since Miller Time.

Image

"Agent Zero" >>> "Hibachi"

Best thing about him might be the fact that he wears #0 because somebody told him he would get "zero" playing time at Arizona. Guess he proved that idiot wrong.

You need to change the thread title to "Hibachi!" and its' popularity will skyrocket.

Maybe this time around he'll make his free throws in the playoffs.

i remember reading an article a few years ago which basically said GM's often make the mistake of "drafting for need" instead of drafting the player available that has the most talent or upside. take a look at the first round of the 2001 draft, can anyone name a player that is clearly better than arenas?:

1. Washington Kwame Brown
2. L.A. Clippers (1) Tyson Chandler
3. Atlanta (2) Pau Gasol
4. Bulls Eddy Curry
5. Golden State Jason Richardson
6. Memphis Shane Battier
7. New Jersey (3) Eddie Griffin
8. Cleveland DeSagana Diop
9. Detroit Rodney White
10. Boston Joe Johnson
11. Boston (from Den.) Kedrick Brown
12. Seattle Vladamir Radmanovic
13. Houston (3) Richard Jefferson
14. Golden State (from Ind.) Troy Murphy
15. Orlando Steven Hunter
16. Charlotte Kirk Haston
17. Toronto Michael Bradley
18. Houston (from N.Y. via Pho. and Orl.) (3) Jason Collins
19. Portland Zach Randolph
20. Cleveland (from Mia.) (4) Brendan Haywood
21. Boston (from Pho.) Joseph Forte
22. Orlando (from Mil. via Hou.) Jeryl Sasser
23. Houston (from Dal. via Orl.) (3) Brandon Armstrong
24. Utah Raul Lopez
25. Sacramento Gerald Wallace
26. Philadelphia Samuel Dalembert
27. Memphis (from L.A. Lakers via N.Y.) (5) Jamaal Tinsley
28. San Antonio Tony Parker

Gasol is solid when healthy...if it's the same Joe Johnson he's pretty good..Tony Parker is good. But I wouldn't put any of them above Arenas..

Agent 0 is a great fucking nickname. Do you guys think Kobe is jealous?

I hope he doesn't tarnish his championship rings with his tears.

Are you asking if Kobe's jealous of the nickname?

Definitely. Nobody has range like Arenas, but he's not an MVP-caliber player.

No, of everbody licking Arenas' balls.

Yeah, probably. All Kobe wants is attention.

I hope the ridiculous amounts of money and success he's received are enough to ween him off the constant spotlight in the coming years.

Hindsight is 20/20. Drafts are always part crapshoot, no matter what the experts might think.

to answer the question posed in the thread title (three question marks, wow), probably because we don't need a new thread for every single player in the NBA, regardless of his talent.

not sure if he's insane....but I disagree with him as well. Arenas is certainly an MVP candidate this year...and deserves to be mentioned with the best players in the league IMO.
