Best thing about him might be the fact that he wears #0 because somebody told him he would get "zero" playing time at Arizona. Guess he proved that idiot wrong.

i remember reading an article a few years ago which basically said GM's often make the mistake of "drafting for need" instead of drafting the player available that has the most talent or upside. take a look at the first round of the 2001 draft, can anyone name a player that is clearly better than arenas?:

to answer the question posed in the thread title (three question marks, wow), probably because we don't need a new thread for every single player in the NBA, regardless of his talent.

Definitely. Nobody has range like Arenas, but he's not an MVP-caliber player.

not sure if he's insane....but I disagree with him as well. Arenas is certainly an MVP candidate this year...and deserves to be mentioned with the best players in the league IMO.
