So I bought Reason.

I installed Reason.

I ran Reason.

So far so good.

When I ran it, the license agreement popped up, like I was supposed to click Accept or something, but....

...there's no button that I can see, and I can't get it past that screen. The agreement scrolls up and down, but the text seems to run off the right hand side and I can't scroll to the side.

Tech support offered really bland advice (reinstall, reboot...wow, genius thoughts there). Any tips?

Obviously that was the first thing I did. But then I videotaped it, left it at my mom's house, ended up with a whole new problem...

is there anything you can click on and place the cursor? if so, try hitting the tab a few times to see how many times it takes to get back into the original spot

Sometimes in these Agreement pop up windows, there is a box that you have to check or uncheck (that shows that you've read it). then when that box has been check, the Accept button will be highlighted then you can click on it.

*my 2 cents*

Also, some of them make you scroll to the end of the agreement before the Accept button appears.

As I said in the original post, it scrolls up and down just fine, but I can't scroll side-to-side to read the entirety of each line. Also, as I said, there is no box to check or button to click anywhere whatsoever. Even the "close window" X in the upper right corner is greyed out.

I've seen this before.

Yeah, I used to have it on an old computer. Stole that copy. Apparently stealing is the better way to go....at least it works, then!

Actually, I got this advice from another board this morning. I'm pretty sure this is the problem. I got this computer for recording purposes, and didn't pay much attention to the crummy graphics card (it was a pretty sweet deal, otherwise). Kudos, cono, you've probably cracked the code.

I'm off to Ebay.
