This was from another thread that I got off topic with so I thought I'd create a new one.
Hate it, love it, I don't care!

Wow I started this thread...good posts everyone! One other point I forgot to make...another friend of mine does like pj a lot, but says they lack any fashion sense. Which I guess I agree with...for example the DVD of them in New York in '03; Stone was dressed like he'd just walked out of Old Navy or something.
On the defence though. They all know they can just be themselves all the time. They know they're huge rock stars and that they can dress the part how ever the fuck they want.
sorry a little off topic...might make a new thread. PJ FASHION POINTS!

doesnt matter to me, the nice thing is that they always seem to look comfortable.
the only one that seems to have a regular kinda outfit would be ed, he seems to always wear a jacket to begin no matter what the temp, he has a t shirt with a button up shirt unbuttoned under the jacket, and eventually ends up with just the t shirt on.

I think Mike is the only one who has the least bit of a sense of fashion. As a rock and roll icon, Pearl Jam is in the spotlight. People look at them. They need to stand for something.

I don't know if any of you remember this but there was an old site called Pearl Jam Network and for an april fools joke years ago they said that stone quit the band to pursue a career as a designer for urban outfitters or something like that. I remember laughing for a long time about that.

stone is a fucking dork. i mean come on...some of those outfits off of TB2K. turtle necks with tight blue jeans and nerdy white adidas sneakers. holy 1999 soccer dad. or the shorts and slip on white or brown shoes. anyone else think of ellen griswolds cousin eddie (randy quade), on the national lampoon christmas vacation movies.

Yes stone does sometimes dress like a nerd and should get some contacts... but that is all part of his image when u look at him ud think he'd be playing some soft rock and backing of john mayer of shania twain... but NO he rocks out and comes up with raggin hooks and riffs...examples include "Breath" "Do the evolution" anything that rocks "Animal"--- Stone is a big Dork and that is why we love him so much... In TB2K the scene with stone and the cowboy hat and gay plaid pants with an apple on the amp is bad ass... Why was there an apple on the amp?
