I thought professional video tapes used for creating videos were bigger, those just look like standard VHS tapes that someone pulled out of their entertainment center. Interesting item, but too much of a gamble, especially those out of the country who might bid.

My guess is that these are 1st generation vhs dubs of the original master tapes.

Firstly, you are right, in 1992, most professional video was still using 3/4 inch tapes, but the masters may have been in S-VHS, however unlikely.

Second, why would the tapes be in PAL format if the video was shot in Seattle and edited in LA? I'll tell you why. Where was the BAND in February 1992? England, that's where, and I bet these dubs of the masters were sent to them, and their management, for review prior to the final editing.

Still, it seems to be a very cool item, and you'll probably never see anything like it again. Buy it and make your own Even Flow video!!

I put a bid on it, not that it will make it for the next 4 days I'm sure, but it would be nice to check these out, they are of particular interest to me at least. I'm cringing at the thought of what these could and probably will go for, and hopefully whoever buys these will play nice and share....

Do you have the VCR to play them? Don't forget, these are in PAL format....

Also, they don't have the conversion price at the top, what is the current rate? It is currently at 51 pounds? Euros? What ever it is, I don't have a clue what it is in U.S. dollars.
