ok this is one thing I've never done. Thought I could burn dvd's (video_ts folder) with DVD Decrypter, but I assume not?

Ive looked in the video help thread, and followed the instructions to use Nero from one of those sites, but I get an error in Nero, then it wont play on my DVD player once burnt.

Whats the easiest way to burn these DVD's?

yep.

Just download the trial version, that's all you need for burning .isos or all the files in a typical VIDEO_TS folder.

nero .. one of the greatest programs on the face of this planet. 8)

Burning DVD filestructure with Nero:
If you downloaded a DVD from a torrent you might get a DVD file structure instead of the ISO-Image that was described above. Generally a DVD filestructure looks like this:

AUDIO_TS (folder)
(empty)

VIDEO_TS (folder)
VIDEO_TS.BUP (Backup of xy.IFO)
VIDEO_TS.IFO (DVD Information File, like Chapter information, audio streams ...)
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO (Menu Information File, Navigation structure ...)
VTS_01_0.VOB (Menu Video files / Menu images)
VTS_01_1.VOB (Show Video file 1)
VTS_01_2.VOB (Show Video file 2)
...

To burn a DVD filestructure Nero is the easiest way to go. Start Nero Burning ROM and select DVD-Video from the dialog box. Press "new" and you should get 2 browser windows. On the left side you see the DVD directories AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS, on the right side you can browse your harddrive. To burn a disc just drag and drop all files from the downloaded directory to the VIDEO_TS directory in the DVD filestructure. After that just name the disc and follow the NERO burning dialog.

I did that for one DVD and it worked, tried another and got an error:

"DVD reallocation failed, the dvd might be unplayable"

I burned it anyway and it was unplayable.

This is for the Music Videos 1991-2006 DVD torrent from Youkan.
No idea why that wont burn the same as the other dvd i just burnt :?
