I'm not a big fan of Christian bands because I do not agree with a lot of Christian views and principles, but I have no problem with Christian songwriters who stray from the "you are my God, dear God, I love you God" lyrics, Ben Harper being a good example. This, however, I have heard a million fucking times before.

And I really don't hear any ''progressive'' elements in his music. But perhaps the horrible misplaced electronics make it progressive.

Neal Morse is the man. One of the greatest songwriters ever. If you doubt that, listen to either Transatlantic album or any Spock's Beard album.

I haven't heard much of his solo stuff, but it seems to me that it's awesome music with really crappy lyrics. I might end up buying them at some point in time...
