It's clearly a parody and thus protected, but I think UT should get a percentage of the money made off them since it's still essentially their logo that's being used to sell the shirts.

the sawed off thing is so f-ing ghey anyway. i could care less if they keep selling them or not, but if i had the misfortune of being an ag there's no way in hell i'd be caught dead in one of those stupid shirts. everytime i see one of the bumper stickers around austin i just wonder why the guy didn't request a vanity license plate that says 'CHUMP'.

It's just one of those things that has been around for ages. Pre-Bevo ages, even.
It's no small wonder they didn't think of putting it on a t-shirt until so recently.
Aggie Nitpick: Sawing 'em off is not part of the Aggie War Hymn. It's part of "Saw Varsity's Horns Off" which is traditionally sung AFTER the War Hymn while the fans sway back and forth. A third song, "Hot Time in Austin" follows. It's one big medely.

'The suit was filed Dec. 4, just days after Texas A&M had beaten UT in football on Nov. 24.'
Imagine that. I wonder what those Regents had to say last year when A&M went after the Seahawks. I'm sure most of them laughed. Now I laugh at them. The whole thing is rediculous, not to mention how many of those shirts/signs I see around. Over-kill.
Meanwhile I hope the Ags beat the dogshit out of Durant and company when they come to CS. It'll probably be within 5 points though.

You're not a Longhorn.
We've been over this before: I was born one and I'll die one. This USC stuff is just a four-year phase.

I'm just bitter because New York doesn't have shit on the college scene.
