I've never tried to play footsteps on the harmonica, but i think that it has an F hammer-on to a G and F is not in the key of G. The key of G has an F#. So i think footsteps should be in C.

Also i think Driftin is played down a half step so the harmonica would be a half step to high in G. Hope that helps

yep,
most used method is with a small jewelers file. you use it to file down the reed.

harmonicas suck tho... or do they blow? ha

studio recording iof driftin is a 1/2 step down, live they play it in the key of G.

Footsteps is also in the same key though. Doesnt matter what notes the guitar riff is. Its in the key of g.
