This was my first Pearl Jam show and it was a great one. RVM, Go, Animal opener, Ed put on the big hands for GTF, U made an appearance, Ed crowd surfed during porch...just great energy and a really fun show. Was anyone else there?

had just quit my job at nintendo after being put on an action plan for going to the albu-vegas shows. had requested the time off but i guess they forgot to approve it so i was in trouble.

anyways after i quit a friend of mine who is an attorney paid to get me back to california so i could finish out the tour. i flew down not knowing how i was going to get to the next show or even where i was going to sleep that night. it all worked out, and it was a great end to an amazing tour.

all in all i think i was at 25 shows on the 2000 tour but this was one of the special ones. i found a ride with some great people who are still great friend some of whom ive traveled to europe, asia and australia with to see this band.

im so glad i dont work for nintendo anymore:-)

cool story.

I was 14 years old at the time and I went with my dad (who never listened to PJ). My dad loved them so much that we took two road trips together from Orange County to Mountain View to see them at the bridge shows in 2001 and 2003. Some of the best times of my life. haha come to think of it...my dad has been to 6 Pearl Jam shows...that's pretty impressive.

my brother and I were there. we did the san diego/san bernadino shows in california among others. what a huge place. we were at the alpine show so this show wasn't as cold in comparison, but it was still cold. awesome show, great energy and set.

I used to live over the freeway from the venue when I was going to Cal State San Bernardino. I was so excited to not have to get on the freeway to go see my favorite band! They were literally in my town! (Coming from a small town, I never thought that'd happen!)

It was a really good show. I remember being mad that I wasn't closer. And if I remember right, it was FREEZING!

Did you live in the area at the time?

I listened to this show a few times the last couple of days.

RVM - Go - Animal - SOLAT - GTF - Grievance - Corduroy

What an opening string of songs!

so were they really fighting during the encore or what's the story?

if i remember correctly Ed crowdsurfed during Porch, which pissed off Jeff because of the whole Roskilde thing. I think Ed even talks about it when they come back from their encore break.

so what's the story?

This was my first PJ show and the nostalgia is ridiculus for me here...but it was fucking awesome.

the big hands during Given to Fly were awesome!
Would love to see a good picture of em. Mine came out blurry...

Loved the RVM opener.
Seemed like a real short show. Probably cuz it was cold, but come on...
