If you have seen either, you know why it sucked.

No direction, no real story line, no nothing...I could have squatted and shit out a better piece of cinema...

I'll agree and on further review a lot of the story did not make sense when you think about it.

For instance, if the bad ghosts were able to harm Michael Keaton at the end then why did they need the other guy doing bad things also?

Also why didn't his wife just be a little more direct? Like change her message up? Obviously he's not listening to you, you dumb bitch!

For example, STOP DOING THIS OR YOU WILL DIE!

or

BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN IF YOU KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!

I can't imagine how this movie could be that good if the writing is that bad.

Note that the women who said that made one appearance in the film and her only other lines were naming a street.

i will still see it, if not only for Michael Keatons triumphant (ha!) return to the big screen!

I dunno, i've always liked him so i'll still see it, least when it comes out to the second run movie theatres

i was really excited about this movie when i saw the very first trailer when i went to see "SAW." the movie kinda let me down. i think it had a fantastic premise and there were some disturbing moments, but i didn't like how it turned into a hardy boys movie with Mike Keaton running around playing detective. it would have been better if he got pocessed and went on a killing spree himself, but thats just me.
