For the 3rd year in a row, I'm going to predict the Astros are going to defy logic.

If the Mets can be anywhere near as good this year as they were last year, I'll be happy. :)

Yeah, me too.

Roy O - I can't ask for a better #1.
Jennings - I really don't know what to expect
Woody - If he can last the whole season, I would be pleased with a 4.00 ERA
?
?

I'm really hopeful about some of our pitching prospects and our offense, actually.

The guy I'm looking forward to seeing is Sampson. Also, Nieve has a lot of problems. In the few appearances he made last year, he was suffering from elbow tendinitis.

haha no silly! Here's what's gonna happen!

The score is 10-7. Rich Aurilia steps back into the batter's box with a 3-1 count and 2 outs (both on attempted bunts). Randy Winn takes a moderate lead off third. Pinch runners Mike Matheny and Brad Hennessey follow suit, the latter sporting a trendy warm up jacket. Charles Nagy, recently out of retirement for the Tribe, delivers a blistering knuckleball. CRACK! Bases clearing triple!! Eric Gagne doesn't own a spleen!

yeah, Jake Peavy and Chris Young are horrible. 60% of their starting rotation is 27 or younger and each of those three was way above average last year, with Peavy being a Cy Young Award candidate.

The last part, well, you're sort of right about that, unless they start Russell Branyan, who can hit it as far as anyone ever has. Too bad he swings with his eyes closed.

yeah, President Palmer was my fav!

Those were some great teams, I wish they woulda beat the Marlins that year. At least an old drinking buddy got the winning hit off him. I got to meet Nagy twice, once at a yankee game and once at a birthday party for his mom. His cousin was hot, way outta my league, which is why it only lasted 6 months. Didnt even get an autograph out of it, just some good old lovin; from a pitchers cousin 8)
