first, it's awesome seeing neil young blow anyone off the stage, but when it's pearl jam it's that much more special because fuck... it's pearl jam. they're not dominated often.

second, i think maybe they're dominated because they were scared shitless, like everyone else watching. i thought neil was going to kill someone.

third, ed's voice is awesome.

fourth, the only knock on this performance could possibly how gay stone looks or how amateur the drumming is.

even though the band is pretty small, neil still looks like a fucking giant... how tall is that man?

Actually this raises something.

How much has Neil influenced PJ, and in what way?

I think the association the band has with him is a very strong reason for why the band still exits today, and are still huge.

Neil young is god.

The world should be run by Dylan, Tom Waits, Neil young.

With pearl jam as the backing band for all these, of course.

A lot of things Ed said in those days were stupid.

I wonder that myself, he looks HUGE standing next to them, especially Ed.

The drumming, IMO, really takes away from that performace. But other than that, it's awesome. They need to play it more with Uncle Neil.

Bono ran the stage when they did make poverty history too

I think you're write that there is a bit of awe here. They're also definitely playing Neil Young's RITFW instead of Pearl Jam's version of it, which is less of a slow burn.

Neil is pretty intense here. It's been a while since I've seen this.

keep in mind pearl jam is collectively short.

i think neil is roughly 6-feet tall.
