Anyone have any ideas to the largest crowd PJ have performed to, excluding festivals?

47,000 Soldier Field 95.....I am not sure if this is the biggest...I would think Australia or Europe would have bigger shows even without it being a festival

Hmm, I'm pretty sure the Lisbon show from 00 was pretty big, but not 47,000.

Soldier Field '95.

Spartan Stadium was 38k I believe. Not sure about Tad Gormley Stadium. Nothing will beat 7/11/95, the performance is just...I can't even word it.

The Golden Gate Park show on 06-24-95 was more than 50,000.

Alpine Valley's capacity is 37,000 ... so it was that full for both shows in '98.

Um...not even the Fleet Center can hold that much. As for festivals, you can't really say it's a PJ audience.

I don't know what the official attendance was, but Barrie, ON and Alpine Valley were the largest shows of the '98 tour as far as I know.

Well it looks like we might have a winner....and that was the show that Eddie got food poisoning or something like that and Neil Young had to fill in

I find it hard to believe that Golden Gate Park has a higher capacity than one of the biggest football stadiums in the country.

if a parks grounds are big enough, it can fit many more people than a football stadium. Plus, just cause its in a football stadium, doesnt mean it was set up for full capacity.

50,000 is small for a football stadium I went to college at the university of south carolina and they packed at least 80,0000 in the college stadium.
