Sorry I couldn't come up with a better title but whatever. My friends and I started a club at my school called SHAC [Students Helping African Children] and we were trying to get support for our group and raise money for the Invisible Children in Africa and I was wondering if I should try contacting tenclub or Pearl Jam and ask them if they would support us or consider helping the invisible children... any ideas? kthnx

you should really write them a letter or e-mail them. i'm sure the contact information is on the web site.
i guess you could call them, too.

Yeah good luck with that. They'll probably appreciate this type of letter, seeing as they probably are sick of the usual "Play the south" and "You're fucking incompetent!" fare.

Wonder when the day will come when we concentrate on our own? Someone with the drive and ambition should focus on our homeless with the intensity that is given to all of the locations overseas.

hmm wasn't actually asking for that kind of advice but thanks for the input.. you could start by creating a charity group, i'd be glad to join it =] && thanks for the other advice guys i'm really hoping that it will all come together. i'm sending a letter to pearl jam today and my friend [the co-founder] is emailing all american rejects. i made a bet saying pearl jam will respond first so.. i can only hope.
