Stunned by my own reflection
It's looking back, sees me too clearly
And I swore I'd never go there again
Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down

Wow ...

i love this song, but it could have been so much more. The verse and bridges are amazing, but its that damn chorus that really kills it :(

I like the bridge, but I've never felt it was one of their best

I also kinda like the chorus for what it is. It's got a lot of energy

everytime I hear the bridge it tricks me into thinking that I love the song. But I don't. I just love the bridge.

This is the verse that really moves me,

Hoagies & grinders, hoagies & grinders
Hoagies & grinders, hoagies & grinders
Navy beans, navy beans, navy beans
Meatloaf sandwich
sloppy joe, slop, sloppy joe

Actually it really doesn’t, I just haven’t been able to get this song out of my head since I noticed that new people are called “Navy Beans”

I agree.

It forshadowed the regular hit-or-miss writing the non-Ed members would do for albums and albums to come. More misses than hits, if you ask me.

How about:
M.Y.T.H. is
Belief in the game controls that keeps us in a box of fear
We never listen
Voice inside so drowned out
Drowned you are, you are, you are a furry thing
And everything is you
Me you, you me, it's all related
What's a boy to do?
Just be darling and I will be too
Faithful to you
