Besides the actual music and show itself, what are your favorite things about going to a Pearl Jam concert...

The weeks and weeks of anticipation..I am not sure if I hate this or love it..the day of the show goes so slowly....

but the...The begining of the show....lights go off, complete darkness, band comes onstage, play first notes....so exciting and so much fun...

You never know what song will be played next. They could pretty much play any song at any time...

The atmosphere....so many Pearl Jam fans in one place. Seeing so many Pearl Jam t shirts and fans around the Fleet Center was really cool...

The race to get a poster, looking for t shurts and other new merchandise...

Awesome 10 club seats, that I do not have stress about getting from ticketmaster...

The girls are so hot...

there must be more I can't think of..what else?

5 shows in May/June 2006 spoiled me. Now I am sad.... Need more!!!

^yeah, that's not right....

How about:
-listening to other people's bootlegs in their cars while tailgating.
-Making new friends from other towns and even from out of state
-Drunken debauchery
-Watching idiots get into scuffles over nothing
-Hot girls

The first note always drives me nuts. One they start playing, I get crazy chills and goose bumps and I don't come to until a few hours later

I would say the anticipation, the Ten Club seats, getting the poster, checking out all the merchandise.

starting to hear the intro music and then that moment the lights go out before the show is the single most exciting part of a show for me....

My favorite part is when all the lights go out and everyone just erupts. Beautiful.

yeah, i love being up front and looking up at the lawn in camden and seeing a sea of people. its really cool to look at all the people like that during a song like betterman or small town and know that all of those people are singing pearl jam.

about ed talking, this is usually something im turned off by. i dont mind it when he has something funny to say or when he has to say something political, but some of his rants get a lil old. if i wanted to hear politics i would have stayed home and watched cspan.

Standing in the dark when the lights got shut off and hearing the first notes of Release. Hair-raisingly good!

how about balloons in the parking lot? some of the funniest balloon induced falls happened at pearl jam concerts. anyone who's seen pj (or anyone else) in philly/jersey knows what im talking about.
