it's not really a top 10-er but i love the shot when renee zellwegger opens the door before she's about to get it on with tom cruise and he's just standing there... with the music on in the background... and she slams the door and turns around.

i'm a weirdo, too.

Apocalypse Now, though it gets boring quite a lot, IMO, does have a lot of awesome shots. Like when Sheen gets his assignment from that general and Harrison Ford, when he looks right into the camera. And at the very beginning when the chopper flies past the screen. And the previously snapshotted one of Sheen.

But the most powerful movie moment of all time, is, IMO, this shot:
