The Dores start the year knocking off #1 Rice yesterday and #20 ASU today..

I'll probably be following CUSA a little bit. I'd like to see some of our conference games this year, but we play them 50 miles away because our current field is horrible. We just hired a a new coach from NC State so I'm hoping we can at least compete a little bit in CUSA. We still need a new stadium near campus, but it's hard to tell when we get one. We had Rice beat last year, though, but we pulled our best relief pitch before the last inning and blew it.

But seriously, I agree. College baseball is a fringe sport and aluminum bats help keep it even somewhat interesting.
