The festival has (for 99%) the same bill as Hurricane, that makes:

Beastie Boys · Bloc Party · Die Fantastischen Vier · Fotos · Marilyn Manson · Me First and the Gimme Gimmes · Pearl Jam · Virginia Jetzt! ·

Sonic Youth plays the same dates as Pearl Jam at both Hurricane & Southside. They might as well be opening in Dusseldorf, Copenhagen & Nijmegen and be on the Werchter bill as well.

And maybe more...

How do you know it's the same date? (the sites don't give dates)

rumours of them being on the same day in Lisbon too :)

Festivals in Germany often have guests in leather pants, so I guess it will be crowded on Stone's side

yep, and I was happy for a while because I thought if they'd show Sonic Youth on the webcast, they would show PJ too. But unfortunately that's not in their schedule.

groetjes,
Mirella :)
