So are these pretty standard? I need to get a new one, so should I just take my camera into Best Buy with me?

yeah i'm sure they can get you one.

but a card reader really is the way to go.

but a card reader really is the way to go.


thanks, and how much are we talking about $$$?

Also, how easy is it to burn photos onto CD's? Is there a standard program that comes on window?

cable i guess can run up to 15, card reader i'd say double. i have no idea really, just check their website.

i've never burned with windows itself before, but i know its possible.

What kind of card is it? I've gotten USB card readers for as little as $10 before.

It should say right on it, usually. Most likely it's either an SD (secure digital) or CF (compact flash).
