I understand that this isn't news, but I thought it might be a cool thing to debate...
I'm sure many of you are familiar with this very famous American trial where Lizzie Borden was accused (and found innocent) of brutally murdering her mother and father in August of 1892. I remember watching an Unsolved Mysteries episode on how the Massachusetts home where the killings took place is now a Bed & Breakfast that is apparently haunted.
Anyway, it led me to research the incident, and I found it to be extremely fascinating. Of course, this was a very different time for American prosecution, but the lack of finite evidence and the puzzling manner in which the events took place is truly bizarre. I think most people would assume that she did kill her parents, but the fact that she managed to swing a hatchet mercilessly some 30+ times and not have any blood on her clothing or any noticeable difference in her usually calm demeanor right after the murders took place is pretty strange.
I don't know...look at some stuff on the net and tell me what you think.

Fact: PJDoll used to have Lizzy Borden as her avatar for a while.
This has something to do with Animal Rights.
I think Lizzy Borden was her great-grandmother.
I'm scared by you East Coast types. There's too much history over there. Americans aren't supposed to have any significant relatives that lived in this continent. Anyone of interest is supposed to have done something fabulous in the "old country" and then moved here.
