I certainly would make an effort to make sure all of our policies and decisions were well publicized and communicated. Seems to have been a lot of unnecessary confusion over the last couple years.

I'd also attempt to institute a "home show" policy where each 10C member can designate a "home show" once per tour, regardless if it's the closest show to that member or not, and get better than usual tix for that one show. I realize that this wouldn't be very popular with many, many older members, but the way I see it, if they're still in it now after all of these years, they've had their share of front section seating and that it's time to mix it up a bit. The 10C is much larger than it as even five years ago- I think more people paying for admission should feel like they have a chance to get close for once. The veterans still get their front rows at whatever show they want. That might mean a lot of "home show" designations for spots like MSG, but really, in the current seating scheme those shows wouldn't be that different than the norm anyway.

I agree. I would like to sit somewhat close at least once. That would be nice.

information in general. seriously, we can handle the truth. lol. big, bold and free. hey, it didnt happen as they had planned? cool. just let us fucking know. not touring the south this time around? cool. just let us fucking know. that whole vague response shit. out the fucking window.

and the fucking birdie. got dammit if i ever needed an interent shotgun...

I certainly agree with this especially in countries outside the US like... Australia for example. It would be cool if the 'home' crowd were given priority seating. It is awesome that US fans can and do travel to see the band and it is an awesome opportunity to meet and greet PJ fans from the other side of the globe but it would be fantastic to give the home crowd the opportunity to rock out in the front rows. The same thing applies to US states as well - it is cool that some fans can afford to travel to multiple shows but it would be awesome for the fans from the home state to be up the front...

Hey thats my thunder!?!?!

I have been saying the same thing for a long time now i am 100% behind this idea. Here is my take from the other thread:

Personally i think they should allow a "Home Town" choice where your offered the best seats you will get. You get to choose one show PER TOUR/LEG if your buying tickets from the Ten Club for a show and designate that as your Home Town show you get bumped up in the list for ticket distribution.

i.e.

I live in Toledo, OH the tour is announced and i see Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus on the tour. I choose Detroit as my "Home Town" show. So for the Detroit show only i get bumped to the top of the list (or near it) since i choose to have this as my best seat preferred show. Any others i buy tickets for i get the standard Seniority deal.

Yeah some tweaking is needed but this is just a rough idea. (also if they announce the deal in bits and pieces like the last one, its harder to choose as ya don't know where all they are playing.

I'm just a bit miffed that the best seats my number #198XXX has gotten me is 18 row floor. To me i would rather be right up front or up on the side. I cant see from that far back. In Chicago it was perfect, i was up mikes side (more than 20 rows up), not to bad at all, but i could see everything. Anything past 10th row floor i just have a hard time seeing. But thats me.

I'd sit down with Kelly Curtis and push for announcements to be made through 10c, not through ticket agencies. Not through the supporting act's website. Not through the promoter. PJ is the headliner, and the headliner shall make the announcement.

And when Curtis negotiates with whichever promoter to go with, I'd make damned sure the shows are properly announced- where there's a second show to be added, for this to be made abundantly clear through 10c- no 2nd show should ever start selling as soon as the first one sells out.

Basically, I'd just be a total pain in the arse with Kelly Curtis. The fan club needs to be really connected to the fans, and if the fans have a consistent problem with the management, then by god the fan club needs to stick it up to the man.

I would hire BrainofPea to go tell them to learn how to manage online ticket sales before he kicks their ass.

That would suck though knowing you're never gonna be really close :|

I like the home town seating suggestion. If only they'd implement it :?

Basically they need to change the fact that they same people get to sit close for all of the shows on the east coast. It's really not fair. I don't really care whatsoever that your 10c number is -3454 and you have been a member for 564 years. It' really not fair. I don't care how you do it, just change it up.

Oh, and let's try to announce things a little faster.
